About the Author It's hard to say which was the more pivotal moment of William Gray's travelling career - surviving his first long-haul flight with toddler twins or clinching the coveted Travel Writer of the Year award in 2002. One thing is certain, however. Few people are more qualified than the 38-year-old writer, photographer and father to compile the ultimate reference book on family travel. Not only did William present several family travel pieces for the 2006 series of the BBC's Holiday programme, but he is also the family travel columnist for Wanderlust magazine and regularly contributes features to The Sunday Times in the UK as well as numerous international publications. William is married to Sally, an educational editor and author. Their twins, Joseph and Eleanor, have totted up over 350 hours' flying time, investigated the electrical hazards of countless hotel rooms, destroyed the ambience of several dozen restaurants, thrown up in six different car seats, trekked through the Atlas Mountains, kayaked in New Zealand and made fire with Bushmen. On TV I saw a mid senior years woman tottering along an a road wearing 2" heels. Her entourage all outside of grabbing distance if she fell. Observing her walk she was obviously in pain and making an effort to not to fall. I wanted to scream, 'for goodness sake society tell women it is OK to wear flat shoes even to formal occasions and will someone please defy protocol and stand close enough to grab her before she breaks her hip in a fall. Then the camera showed the Queen's smiling face and outstretched hand as she greeted the crowds behind the barrier. OK maybe one of them will cling to her hand when she trips in those stupid heels at her degree of mobility. Maybe she will just jar herself if a crown member grabs her from the front, instead of break something, when she goes over. Maybe she has a Superman in the entourage trained to dash forward and grab her before she hits the ground. Maybe her slow uneven gait is a specially trained step that prevents falls, but I've seen that walk down the corridor of too many nursing homes and feel that it suggests that someone should be holding the persons hand as they walk. I would prefer my life to that of the richest woman in England. I can say what I like and kick my shoes off whenever I wish and when I don't wear high heels and can ask for someone to hold my hand when I feel unsteady. - Just an observation. Not a criticism. Queen Elizabeth 2 does a fantastic PR job for her country and her behaviours is just her pride in her jobs same as my obsessive work hours here on the sofa in bare feet and no protocol, represent pride in my creative work job. I sure prefer my job to hers. Baby Sugar Glider How Do You Do The Huge Jobs? 03/20/2012
Do you get overwhelmed by how much you have to do? How much weight you have to lose? Is the task so huge you find it’s hard to face and you feel the stress is too much when you think about what has to be done? Times like that happen to us all. I’ve been there. One of the techniques I have used is to remember the time management question, ‘How do you eat an elephant?’ and the answer, ‘One bite at a time.’ I do believe that effective time management is essential to be able to get your life into manageable stages and time management for me at least is essential to having released my excess weight and maintaining and fine tuning, toning my body. I will begin writing time management articles in this blog, in mid September. For now, keep in mind, whatever that overwhelming task is, you do not have to do it today. You just have to do a small manageable action today, one you know you can do, one that will not stress you. Lets suppose you have to complete an overdue tax form and BAS statement and your feeling totally overwhelmed. Just break this into small bites. Say today, I will clean the desk top ready to begin preparing my tax. You do not have to lose 50 kilo today. You just have to eat healthy portion controlled foods that you love and be an active person. One day, today, that’s all. You can do that. I can do that. J. If the food you choose is food you love, if the activities you choose are ones you love, you will want to do the same thing tomorrow, and the next day, you will already be living as the slim person you want to become, you are that person, your body will catch up and become the slim person you are able to start living as, today. You have to believe you are the person you want to become. The clean desk top creates the image of the competent home accountant and the living today as a healthy person will create for you the best healthy slim body you can achieve. You are capable and beautiful NOW. This is a post reprinted with permission from the Health and Fitness ArtSlim Website Writing EBooks 03/20/2012
1,961 words of my Non-Fiction EBook written this morning bringing the total words written since I started it over the weekend to around 18.000, that’s more than required so I may stop and edit and publish at any stage. Then I will keep writing and developing each section in more detail. Then publish these more detailed EBooks covering varied categories or sub categories in more detail. This free-lance EBook writing is now taking the place of the paid writing jobs I was doing for others and how to get those paid jobs, if you want them, will be a part of what I will be sharing in some of the EBooks. Fiction or non-fiction, it does not matter to me, I love it all which is why I write. Check out my Bloggermuse web site for more posts about earning your living as a writer. Blogging and Business Books Pay Rise for Pensioners 03/19/2012
Married pensioners get a $2.50 per week pay rise each. Tomorrow. Most part pensioners will get $1. per fortnight. Single unemployed people get $1.50 Not sure if that was per fortnight or week. No wonder they didn't bother to mention how much the pay rise was on the 6pm news. The pensioners will all be having a wild party on the pay rise. What would you buy with your extra $2.50 a week? Or $1.50 if you were not quite pension age but could not get a job? I think those people have it the hardest. Life is life, fight for it.- Mother Teresa 03/19/2012

Life is an adventure, dare it. Life is luck, make it. Life is too precious, do not destroy it. Life is life, fight for it.- Mother Teresa Books » Biography » Religious Mother Teresa, in My Own Words 1910-1997 By Mother Teresa The collection of quotes, stories, and prayers in this book are all her own words and experiences. It would be so hard to have your home flooded out. They are evacuating Tallygaroopa a town only 11 k out of Shepparton and near us at the moment. It seems strange that they are flooded out and we are dry when we are in the same river basin. What a difference a few kilometer make. They have cleared the big gum trees from across the highway near us and you can get from Shepparton to Echuca again. Make Wire & Bead Rings 02/29/2012
