Did you know on this day in 1951 Walt Disney's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland (and 13th animated film) premiered in London?  1951, I would have been six or seven when I went to see this film. The mad queen scared me and I was frankly far too yo  chg for this film. Interesting that it is rated 15 plus in the bookstores, I never did think a lot of children s stories were suited to children.  Well I found Disney's Snow White terrifying too. I wasn't a huge Disney fan as a child, though I now realize what a genius he was.
